Inspired by: Cities

In anticipation of my upcoming travel plans, I have spent a lot of time reflecting on the places which I had visited and that have inspired me since. I enjoy reflecting on the similarities and differences between my own city of Melbourne, and other cities of the world; inspecting the liveliness and ambitions from those who reside there.

Barcelona.

The city is truly one of a kind, and is one of the most lively and inspiring places to be apart of. From morning to night, the streets were buzzing with live music and many faces alongside us, who were also shopping, eating, drinking and dancing. I loved being surrounded by both beautiful architecture and nature, as well as the creative nature of those residing in the city.

Rome.

The city itself is a work of art. I have never felt so inspired and immersed in such rich history and beautiful architectures. I hold so many special memories from my time in Rome, and was in awe facing in real-life the famous landmarks such as the Colosseo, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican City. We ended our long days of walking and exploring with dinner on the cobblestone streets, feeling so lucky to be surrounded by both people and a city, who hold so many stories.

Berlin.

I felt inspired by the many different lives which fill Berlin. The city offers valuable insight of history through its landmarks, as well as gorgeous nature, markets, restaurants and shops to be immersed in. Through both the day and nightlife, I felt comforted by the many new faces which I met, who all shared a common admiration and lust for life, in a way which I had never seen before. I am forever inspired by the city and its people, and am looking forward to revisiting and documenting my new perspectives and explorations of it.

London.

I was lucky enough to be born and spend the early years of my life here, and now I hold those fond memories and a sense of comfort in relation to this city. Through visiting the London through my different age lens', I have more recently grown to be drawn to the fast-paced, working and social lifestyle, which I would love to be apart of one day.

To me, London is daring, bustling and ambitious. There is so much that the city offers, and it inspires me to be ambitious and seek out new opportunities and dream. In addition, there is so much admirable art, fashion, architecture, history and natural features to be inspired by, and I am looking forward on gaining a new perspective of them soon.
